All about Nature and Landscape Photography

Do you want to leans the ins and outs of producing high-quality nature and landscape images? Improve your understanding of your camera, your composition, lighting, exposure, and macro photography in the field? Join commercial photographer and author Sean Arbabi for a day of ideas, inspiration and clear instruction from a widely published twenty-year pro who can help you improve your photo skills and take better pictures with your digital camera. 

With Sean's new book, The Complete Guide to Nature Photography, hitting bookstores December 1st, not only does he bring a vast amount of knowledge to the topic, his enthusiasm and charm, along with 25 years of experience, but he will also have copies to sell and sign to use as a great reference during and after the workshop. Sean's dynamic powerpoint-style computer presentations offer a variety of image-taking ideas, fun techniques to create unique shots, as well as tips ‘n tricks for photographers of all levels. You will come away inspired with extra tools to improve your skills. 

Our class lecture will run from 11am until 3:00pm. After a Q&A session, we will head into Pt. Reyes National Seashore to capture sunset and put our newfound knowledge to the test. 

You can bring any compact | point-&-shoot camera to this workshop. The best option (although not required) would be a digital SLR with a few lenses, a tripod (optional but recommended), and a solid carrying bag. Please bring comfortable hiking or walking shoes, a bag lunch, and a warm jacket and hat.
